Season 1 Placement
How players enter the divisions
For Season 1, players will be placed into divisions using Chess.com account age as the primary seeding method, after eligibility, activity and account-integrity checks have been applied.
The oldest eligible Chess.com accounts will be placed into Lega Oro.
The next oldest eligible accounts will flow down into Lega Argento, Lega Bronzo and Lega Verde.
Newer, lower-confidence or provisional accounts may be placed into Accademia Inter Mezzo.
From Season 2 onwards, league movement will be decided by promotion and relegation.
New players joining after Season 1 will normally enter through Lega Verde or Accademia Inter Mezzo, depending on account age, activity, rating stability and account checks.
Account age is used as a launch-season seeding method. It is not treated as a direct measure of playing strength. The league reserves the right to place accounts into Accademia Inter Mezzo where account history, activity level, rating stability or integrity checks are insufficient.

From Season 2 onwards, movement between divisions will be decided by promotion and relegation.

Results Broadcast
The Sunday results broadcast will replay the weekly fixture story in a football-style format. Each player’s first 5 eligible games will be locked, checked and converted into a weekly match outcome using League Delta scoring.
